About
I grew up in the South of England where I spent much of my childhood being dragged around the gardens of National Trust Houses by my great aunts. They were all mad keen gardeners and loved to visit lesser known spots to get the perfect sweet pea plugs or a new Daphne. It was this early experience which instilled a love of plants and flowers within me. To this day I still remember which aunt introduced which flower. With only a small London garden now I find great pleasure in drawing plants as this process evokes such happy memories.
I have a B.A. in Fine Art from Norwich School of Art and went on to gain a Masters in Printmaking at Camberwell Art School.
I have taught art in many settings over the years from private tuition for children and holiday clubs to adults group evening classes.
I am a Montessori teacher and spent many years in the classroom often elbow deep in paint and whatever artistic materials that were to hand.
I am a mother to three teenagers, owner of a quirky sausage dog called Howie, Gardener and Reiki enthusiast.
